DESCRIPTION & APPLICATIONS AL 232
characterization: AL 232 is a type of aliphatic inactive one-component urethane resin.
This product has a high molecular weight and it is without free isocyanate and tin compounds, which are used in the production of flexo and rotogravure printing compounds. Form supplied: Form supplied is approximately 75±2% in ethyl acetate. Applications: AL 232 is used in the manufacture of flexo and gravure printing compounds. AL 232 in combination with nitrocellulose improves its adhesion, flexibility and chemical resistance properties. Compounds made with AL 232 can be used on BOPP, PE, PET, PP, etc. surfaces. AL 232 is fully compatible with nitrocellulose and other standard compounding raw materials .
Solubility / thinnability: AL 232 can be thinned with alcoholic and ethyl acetate solvents.

Storage: The resin should be stored indoors in original, unopened and undamaged container in a dry place at storage temperature between 5-25°C. Exposure to direct sunlight should be avoided.
Storage time: Alians Kimya represents that, for a period of 6 months ( 180 days ) following the day of shipment as stated in the respective transport documents, the product will meet the specifications or values set forth in section “specifications or characteristic data” above, what ever is applicable, provided that the product is stored in full compliance with the storage conditions set forth in and referenced under section “storage” above and is otherwise handled appropriately. The lapse of the 6 months (180 days) period does not necessarily mean that the product no longer meets specifications or the set values. However, prior to using said product, Alians Kimya recommends to test such a product if it still meets the specifications or the set values. Alians Kimya does not make any representation regarding the product after the lapse of the 6 months (180 days) period and Alians Kimya shall not be responsible or liable in any way for the product failing to meet specifications or the set values after the lapse of the 6 months (180 days) period.
